UNR's campus is located in the beautiful mountainous city of Reno, with a population of around 450,000 people. Just 40 minutes from Lake Tahoe and a four-hour drive from San Francisco.   • New/Transfer Student Scholarships and International Awards are offered to full-time international undergraduate students in F-1 or J-1 status

  • Graduate Assistantships are valued at over $33,600 and include a monthly stipend of $1,550, a per credit grant-in-aid, health insurance, and in-state resident status for tuition purposes
     
  • Outstanding International Graduate Student Scholarship is offered to outstanding, full-time international graduate students
     
  • The Graduate Student Association (GSA) offers travel grants for students to attend professional conferences
