University of Hertfordshire School of Computer Science
Living and Studying the University of Hertfordshire
The University of Hertfordshire is a fantastic place to be student. Our campuses provide you with a lively and friendly environment in which to live and study and they are located just 20 miles north of London’s city centre, just a short train ride away, so there is always lots of things to see and do!
New developments at the university in recent years ensure that all of our students get the best university experience. In 2003 we opened the new £120 million de Havilland campus with a state-of-the-art Learning Resources Centre and brand new Sports Village. There are also 1600 single student accommodation rooms with en-suite facilities and broadband internet connection.
We have students from over 90 different countries studying with us and we do our best to ensure everyone settles in as quickly as possible. We guarantee accommodation for all international students and we introduce you to life at the university during an orientation week, where a number of activities are organised specifically for overseas students. These activities continue throughout the year. English and study skills courses also run throughout the year to support your studies and your tutors are always on hand to offer help and advice. Find out more about being an international student at the University of Hertfordshire by visiting our web site www.herts.ac.uk/international.
