The University of Hertfordshire is a fantastic place to be a student. Our two campuses are very close to each other, serviced by a free shuttle service and provide you with a lively and friendly environment in which to live and study. They are located just 20 miles north of London’s city centre, just a short train ride away, so there is always lots of things to see and do!
New developments at the University ensure that all of our students get the best university experience. In 2003 we opened the new £120 million de Havilland campus with a state-of-the-art learning resources centre and brand new sports village. On the College Lane campus high quality teaching is supplemented by state-of-the-art study facilities with a £15M multi-award winning learning resources centre including our ground-breaking StudyNet system, which provides 24/7 virtual access to learning. There are also 1600 single student accommodation rooms with en-suite facilities and broadband internet connection. In 2004 the University won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
