Renewable Energy at Dundee
Dundee is home to a sun city initiative, with member organisations across a range of academic, public and business institutions. The university has a history of solar cell research and multi-disciplinary excellence across a spectrum of renewable energy fields. We have developed a suite of programmes to cater for undergraduate and postgraduate students in this exciting and rapidly developing field. These courses are designed to appeal to prospective students with a solid background in the physical sciences or engineering, but other qualifications will also be considered.

Undergraduate: BSc/MSci
3/4/5 year courses according to entry level and progression. 1 or 2 year Foundation in general physics and engineering subjects, with specialised modules in honours years including an individual project.

Postgraduate: Master of Science
This one year full-time course, covers in depth the relevant technologies, environmental and related aspects through a series of conference-style short modules. Students also undertake a 6 month project in an industrial or university placement.
