Programs allow specialist study or combined study in fruit, vegetable and ornamental production,
postharvest technology, urban horticulture and options in agribusiness, food science, environmental
chemistry, plant breeding and molecular genetics, plant pathology, turf management etc.
You have the flexibility to choose combinations of horticultural units. You can move between
science units and units in economics and business according to your interests.
Sydney University horticulture graduates possess strong problem-solving and analytical
skills. Graduates are in strong demand and pursue varied and challenging careers.
