Programs offered
Flinders offers a 6 month Graduate
Certificate, a 12 month Graduate
Diploma or a 2 year Master of
Engineering. Graduates have an
advanced knowledge of engineering
and biomedical principles, as wells
as skills in communication, problem
solving and critical thinking.
Masters students are offered a
choice of research projects and the
opportunity to collaborate with
professionals from the worldrenowned
Flinders Medical Centre.
Projects are available in diverse
areas such as Bioinstrumentation,
Biomedical Signal and Image
Processing, Simulation Technologies,
Biomechanics and Biomaterials.
Examples include robots for surgery,
implantable biosensors and virtual
reality simulators.
Students can also elect to undertake
an additional Bachelor degree in
Innovation and Enterprise (1 year fulltime
equivalent) covering business,
marketing, management principles,
economics and ethics.
